Spending some time with Leah

Howdy y'all!
Sorry if y'all thought my last post was crazy. It's more important to me since I'm into computer stuff. After a day of work on the living room / dining room / kitchen project, I did some loop and way work, checked some blogs, and helped the boys with their potato guns. So right now, I'm trying to feed Leah some food. Thankfully she loved it and is hungry. It's funny watching her try to come to me in her walker, but she ends up walking backwards. :D
Well, she's getting tired of eating now, I guess. Hope you all enjoy your evening!

You don't need to apologize for crazy posts. A significant percentage of your readers are also crazy, and therefore enjoy the crazy posts more.

    1. Good to know! I half expected it. :D I'm about to break into the song "Ain't it Great to be Crazy," but I shall refrain myself. ;)

    2. We could do a duet, Nick:) Your comment brought "flash-backs" of a cd one of my cousins used to listen to constantly when they were little...and they loved it...ugh:) I was ready to break the cd after what seemed like the millionth time through on a road trip with them! But, if you need a someone to sing it with you, I'd be more than happy to join you:)

    3. LOL thanks! I'll keep that in mind! :)
Hooray! Your comment showed as ham!

      Delete
    4. No problem! Any time:)

And, what do you mean showed as "ham"..."spam"???? Also, are you a prospective college student? (hint, hint...I hope you come:D)

      Delete
    5. WOW!!!! I must not be spam anymore! Yeah!!!!!!!!

    6. Ham is the opposite of spam. One is good to eat and one is not. One makes you vomit when you get it and the other makes you happy. (Both as food and comments!) :D Yup, you're not spam anymore! :)
Also, about college, I'm glad you hope I come, but I don't see that happening. :( Never know how the Lord will lead though. Hopefully, I'll have a local job next year. But then again, I may not! :D I will certainly keep it as a matter of prayer. Also, I tried to talk the family into visiting y'all - so I could look at a pickup truck north of you guys. xD
P.S How do you have time to comment so much?

      Delete
    7. Why didn't I think of that? Please don't ever feed me spam:)

I'll pray that you're able to get a job. Just thought I'd ask considering the comment you left on my blog:)

How much success did you have talking your family into coming? Could I help with that (talking them into it) in any way:) ?

Also, I hope I'm not bothering you by commenting so much:( That will definitely slow down in the next few weeks. I didn't officially start school until today, but I am now enrolled in a Dressmaking and Design class through Penn Foster Career School. Also, having relocated, we haven't quite gotten back into a daily routine until this week. I'm looking forward to getting back to a schedule:)

Sorry to make this such a long comment. Have a blessed night!

    9. Mrs. A and Nick,

Mom would like you all to find out where half-way is between Ocean City, NJ and your house. We could both split the drive (about 3 1/2 hours each) and meet each other somewhere:) You can either email me or leave your reply here...I don't mind either way. Thanks so much!

    10. @Heather, It doesn't bother me at all that you comment so much; it's nice having lots of comments! :D I just wondered where you get all the time!
      @Mom, I'd love that! :D
@Heather, the halfway point is about here, according to my midpoint calculator: http://goo.gl/74sOx

    11. I guess part of the reason I comment so much is because you are the only people I "hear" from other than our pastor's wife in VA. So, it's always nice to keep in touch with someone...and it is a blessing to meet like-minded people like you:) Thanks for letting me know where the midpoint was. Please tell your mom I got her email and either Mom or I will reply tomorrow with the things she asked for:)

What's wrong with spam??? (I mean as food, not comments)
P.S. I don't know that song - but I ought to learn it.

  4. Nick, did something go wrong with your blog? I left two comments this morning, and it appeared that comment moderation had been turned off, because they automatically showed up when I left them. They didn't have to be "approved". But now they're gone! I wasn't sure if you were aware of this, so I thought I'd let you know:)

    1. I switched off moderation. I don't like it when other people have it, so I don't do it. :D They disappeared because my blog detects you as a spammer.

    2. Howdy, Nick (:D)!

I was wondering, when you turn comment moderation off, do you still get notified when someone leaves a comment? Have a great night!

      Sincerely (:D),

(Oh no...I'm tired tonight! Can you tell?!?!?!?!)

    3. lol. I can be, but I don't. I switch moderation on when I'm on vacation from wifi. ;)

  5. Nick,
Sorry it's been a while since I dropped by. You have a very adorable baby sister, but that was evident from the first picture I saw of her :)

    1. Thanks so much for droppin' by, Hannah! Yes, Leah is adorable. And I don't mind bragging about her. She just better not read my blog when she becomes a teenager. :D

    2. At least she'll know her big brother loved her:) That is always special to a "little sister"...I know because I am one:)

  6. She may take after her big brother in the eating department but she looks like you too.:) Being in the walker makes her look so much older then she is. You can put cute little sisters on anytime you want. It makes dropping by so much more fun. I am one of the more sane readers by the way!! :)

    1. Everybody says she looks like me. I guess that's a good thing, although I fail to see the resemblance. :) I'm sure I'll continue to post pictures of her as I go. :D
Could all of you more sane readers give me some feedback on my crazy posts? :D I hope they're not too "out there" xD

  8. Hi Nick!

Thank you for the comment you left on my blog last night (about fair use); I appreciate it. You might notice that I edited your comment and republished it...that is because I didn't want anyone to think I was contradicting you, but I didn't want you to think I was ignoring you either:) I asked my Dad about using the music before I ever put my first video together (I Have Been Blessed) and he said that I was fine since I gave credit and didn't use it for commercial purposes. I brought it to his attention again when you brought up fair use, and he still said he thought I was ok. I looked up fair use myself, and I'm not sure where your friend thought my videos didn't comply. At this point, I am going to go with my dad's counsel, but I will definitely keep in mind what you shared. Thank you very much for helping me out with all of this!

A quick prayer request: I'm supposed to try out Wednesday night after church to play my violin in the orchestra. I'm just a little nervous:) Please pray that all goes well. I'll let you know if I get in! Have a great day!

    1. Oops, sorry I left the second comment! How'd you edit it? I tried to do that to a comment on here, but it wouldn't let me. And I'm glad that you can keep doing the videos! Because I have really enjoyed them. About the prayer request - I will. That's really neat that you get to play in the orchestra! I can't say I blame you for being nervous. At least it's not a solo. ;)

    2. Well, I didn't really edit the comment...I tried and it didn't work. Since you hadn't signed in as "Cowboy Nick", I copied what you had written, deleted your comment, and republished it...using the same "name" you had used:) Hope you don't mind...I trust you understand why I did that.

Thanks for praying. I'll let you know how it goes! The solo may come eventually...we'll see:)

    3. Yes, I understand. I was wondering how you did that! :D
